How to Decrypt a Log File Using Connect | Step-by-Step Guide
In this article, we're going to walk you through how to decrypt a log file using Connects Decrypt Log Files tool. It’s a straightforward process, and by the end of it, you’ll be able to access and read your encrypted log data with ease. Whether you’re trying to troubleshoot an issue or just need to take a closer look at your system’s performance, I’m here to make sure you know exactly how to decrypt those files step by step. Let’s get started!
1. To decrypt your log file in Connect refer to your SOP for instructions on downloading the log file from the container.

2. After downloading when viewing it from a computer, Log file should show up a as a "txt' file containing a lot of information

3. In Order to Decrypt you will need to go to Connect and click on tools

4. Click Decrypt Log File

5. Click on Select file

6. Choose "Txt" you downloaded from your container

7. You will see your log file loaded

8. Now click on Select container

9. Click here

10. Click on Decrypt"

11. After waiting a few seconds a notification will popup confirming the decryption is successful. Next click on "Decrypt File"

12. Check on your downloads that the decrypted files ".xls" has dowloaded

13. Once downloaded when opening the new decrypted file your should be able to view a graph like the one below.

14. Fore more a more detailed run down of the log file click on import
