How to Request an Order in CSafe Connect for Bulk Air Cargo Leases
In this guide, you'll learn how to efficiently request an order for bulk air cargo leases using CSafe Connect. Whether you're managing temperature-sensitive shipments or ensuring timely deliveries, following these steps will help you easily navigate the CSafe Connect platform.
1. In the Connect portal Click on REQUEST ORDER

2. Click on ORDER

3. You will see the "New lease request" page appear

4. Fill out the customer information section for your lease.

5. Make sure the address is accurate

6. Choose the existing contact

7. Add your CCs in this section

8. Click on NEXT STEP to jump to the next section

9. The next section is Container information

10. Click on Add Container

11. Click on Bulk Air Cargo

12. Check your desired type of container

13. Add or subtract the amount of units you need for your lease

14. Click on Pick Up or Delivery
If you choose Delivery Please notate if morning delivery is required and the full address with the name of the warehouse

15. Click on Next

16. Select the lease type

17. Select the Release point

18. Select the return point

19. Select your start of lease date

20. clicking on a start of lease date that is less than 48 hours from the current date will prompt an Expedite Fee notice

21. You can choose "Yes" to accept or "No" to go back and change the start of lease date

22. Sometimes you will get a notice advising that our facility will be closed on the specified date. We can provide early courtesy release or delivery on the previous day or an available date per the calendar

23. Our Facility's open hours at the end of your lease may vary depending on the lease type and start date. If you receive a notice indicating that the facility will be closed on the end date, you can return on the next business day without incurring any demurrage charges.

24. Provide the AWB #

25. Choose the commodity

26. Select Shipper:

27. Type your forwarder

28. Select your airport

29. Select your destination airport

30. Type your PO number

31. If Control tower is needed please make sure to request it here

32. You can also view your estimated cost throughout this process from this point on

33. Click on Next

34. When Prompted to select damage waiver choose "yes" or "no"

35. Same for straps

36. Choose the amount of seals for this lease if needed

37. Choose your preconditioning options if needed
Shipment mode is preconditioning mode, however, with the AWB or PO# as the password to ensure added security
Please note that entire or complete shipment readings are not guaranteed on preconditioning but they are guaranteed on shipment mode
This is separate from live readings

38. Make sure to give us the set temperature
Please note that the number should be whole and not in decimals i.e. 5, 4, 6, 10, 20, 15 and not 5.5, 25.5, etc.

39. If you added any further accommodations after estimating your cost the first time a reminder to update will be prompted

40. Click on Update

41. Click on Next

42. You will then get a summary of your charges

43. Click on Add To Lease

44. The next section is Confirm Your Lease

45. once everything has been reviewed Click on REQUEST LEASE
Take extra care as once you've hit this button you will no longer be able to edit your lease further
You will need to send any changes to our customer support representatives at customersupport@csafeglobal.com so that they can review and apply.

46. A window will pop up advising that the lease was received and submitted
Our Customer Support team will review your request and reply in short order confirming your lease request, or let you know if any further information is needed.

47. Click on BACK TO DASHBOARD

48. You will see your lease as "Request Confirmed" on your Dashboard
Please note that this does not mean that the CSafe Customer Support team has confirmed your lease request. This serves as a confirmation that your lease request has been received and we are reviewing it. You will receive a separate email confirming the lease.
Once containers are assigned and the lease start date arrives, the lease will then display as "On Lease". If your company has a Track and Trace Services Agreement in place with CSafe, you will be able to create, track and view shipments associated with the containers on the lease.
